A little way into the book, it was like a zoology class combined with how-to-run-a-zoo chapters. And little further, its all about quest for God and different religions. Although the writing is great and that I can relate to its Indian and Canadian parts well, I didn't expect Pi to be religious and give a whole lesson or shit about it.
